What I’ve found is that when I set time aside for this deep planning work, it pays off in dividends. The idea is to challenge your personal best during the session. If you’ve never completed your planning before, this is a great opportunity to get clarity on the page. How much time does it take to implement what’s on my plan? 

This one is really a “how long is a piece of string” type question. It depends on your lifestyle, on your self-leadership, and on how much capacity you have to put toward it. I’ve seen it completed within 4 months, and some up to 12. It really is what you make of it.
